PharmaDigital is a pharmacy dispensing and management system built with Django. It gives five kinds of users their own dashboard: administrators, pharmacists, doctors, pharmacy clerks and patients, each seeing only what their role allows.
Features
- Role-based access: A custom user model with five roles, and middleware that sends each role to its own set of views and blocks the rest.
- Patients and admissions: Clerks register and update patients, and administrators see admissions at a glance.
- Prescriptions: Doctors write and edit prescriptions on each patient's record.
- Drug stock: Drug categories, stock levels and expiry tracking, with a dashboard alert when drugs are running low.
- Dispensing: Pharmacists record the drugs dispensed to each patient.
- Patient feedback: Patients can view their medication and message a pharmacist if something went wrong.
- Accounts: Profile management for every role and password reset by email.
